2024 Plans

Well, last year was such a busy one for me! After finishing my year long Professional Landscape Painters course at Newlyn School of Art, three new galleries took on my work last year: The Sanctuary Gallery in Newnham U Severn, Webbs Gallery in Battersea London and Hatch Gallery in Christchurch, Dorset. This year is promising to be as exciting as I am having an exhibition at The Lighthouse Gallery, Penzance with two other fantastic artists - Annie Waring and Mark Poprawski in May. I am in an exhibition at Hatch Gallery until the end of this month. This week I am finalising two large paintings to go up to Webbs in Battersea and here they are - the first 120x90cm oil on canvas, and the second 100x100cm, acrylic. I am also planning Open Studios Cornwall for the end of May/beginning of June.

So, when the weather gets a little warmer (fair weather sketcher that I am!), I shall be taking out my pochade and brushes to get plein air sketching and painting to get material for my next big body of work. I will try to capture some of these experiences and share them in my blog. In the meantime, Iā€™m enjoying the sanctuary of my studio, overlooking the wilds of the Atlantic. Thank you for reading. Happy New Year!
